SpiceJet flags off daily non-stop flight on Delhi-Hong Kong route
Hong Kong is SpiceJet's eighth international destination

GURUGRAM, November 23, 2018 : SpiceJet, the country’s favourite carrier, has launched daily non-stop flight services on the Delhi-Hong Kong-Delhi route, thus providing seamless connectivity for business and leisure travelers and student community in Hong Kong.

SpiceJet is the only Indian budget carrier offering direct connectivity between India’s national capital and Hong Kong. One of the world's most significant financial centers and top tourist destination, Hong Kong earmarks SpiceJet’s eighth international destination after Bangkok, Colombo, Dubai, Dhaka, Kabul, Male and Muscat.

The inauguration of the new flight was initiated with the customary lamp lighting ceremony thereby marking the formal announcement of the launch of SpiceJet’s SG 31 Delhi to Hong Kong flight.

On the occasion, Ms. Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Sales & Revenue Officer, SpiceJet said, “We are delighted to launch our direct flight on the Delhi-Hong Kong route. Hong Kong is one of the largest trading entities and one of the world’s top tourist destination, hence, we see tremendous potential in this sector. We have already witnessed a huge demand on this sector and foresee that this will only grow in the coming days”.

SpiceJet will operate a daily non-stop flight on the sector. SpiceJet flight SG 31 will depart from Terminal 3 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport at 10.45 pm (all local times) and will arrive in Hong Kong at 6:40 am the following day and the return flight SG 32 will depart at 7:40 am and reach Delhi at 10:50 am.

The flights have been planned keeping in mind the comfort of both business and leisure travelers offering multiple flights connections both from Hong Kong and Delhi. Passengers flying to Delhi will now be able to access SpiceJet’s 48 connections within India making it convenient for both tourists and those travelling for work.

SpiceJet will service the route using its new 189 seater Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which provides unmatched passenger comfort and unique features much to the delight of our guests. The new service will enable SpiceJet to provide over 2500 seats per week on the sector.
